Week 24 * 6 Months

I am feeling really good this week. My only complaint is that I am not totally in maternity pants. I can still wear my regular pants, but can not button or zip them the entire way up, and my maternity pants are still a little to big since my belly has not completely popped yet. The baby is moving around a lot all day and all night long. She is an acrobat. I going to have to get her into gymnastics.
Also, I cut out all soda. I drown myself on water. I cut out caffeine when I found out I was pregnant. I really miss Diet Coke. However, I do steal a sip here and there when it is offered to me, but I never have my own.
Steve and I have started looking at and picking out furniture, bedding's, playards, strollers ect... It is really starting to settle in on him now. Soon we can pick out the paint for the baby's room, and start getting that together.

Have you tried the rubber band trick?

FUN!! I loved getting ready for the babies. With both of my boys I got their rooms done WAY too early just so I could go in there and rock in the chair and wait for when I'd have a baby to do it with LOL!

Oh and the rubber band trick is THEE key to stretching your clothes! I had to do it until I was almost 7 months. If you don't know what it is...its much easier to show then explain I think.....but its putting a rubber band through your button hole on the pants and then wrapping both loops around the button. Its kind of an "extender".

Kerri is a pro to the rubber band trick. Seriously though, I agree with Brianna. Get the room mostly done now. I too liked going in there and rocking my baby before he was born. Which leads me to another subject, a rocking chair/glider with an ottoman is a MUST for snuggling and late night feedings!!

Would HAVE to agree with Erin about the glider! I STILL have one in Maddy's room. We read in it now.
